Greg Burnham

Lead Technologist Greg Burnham

For over a decade Greg has been managing servers and striving to ensure that all the systems at 7th Floor Media are running well. When not managing infrastructure, Greg is busy writing code in a wide variety of languages, including PHP, VBScript and Java as well as building and managing databases for a myriad of clients and projects. Ongoing research into the world of new and emerging technology coupled with a formal education in Computer Technology gives Greg his seemingly uncanny ability to rectify technological breakdowns.

Mo Goshinmon

Senior Designer / Interface Consultant Mo Goshinmon

With a background in fine art and commercial design, Moragh joined 7th Floor Media in 1994 for the opportunity to design specifically for
culture and education. Since then she has worked on a wide range of interactive projects, including Web sites, museum kiosks and mobile
applications. Moragh's analysis and communication skills have made her a valued user-interface strategist for our clients, alongside her role
as designer, illustrator and animator. Moragh is an Associate of the Ontario College of Art & Design, with specialized training in New
Media Design (VCC), Writing for Business & the Professions (SFU Writing & Publishing), User Interface Analysis (Carleton University) and Usability Testing (Ohio University).

Jérôme Jaglale

Programmer Jérôme Jaglale

Originally from the French island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean Jérôme brings with him a Masters in Computer Science earned from Strasbourg. His experience as a developer includes Java, Python, Zope and PHP and he's applied them to develop both front and back end software. Jérôme brings a deep understanding of programming that allows him to build software that's clean, easy to understand in a quick, effective manner.

Noni Maté

Co-Director Noni Maté

Noni is a former History and English educator with fifteen years of teaching experience in secondary schools and in the SFU Faculty of
Education and since 1990 has used her expertise to direct the creation of many educational multimedia projects. Her skills in consulting and
collaborating with clients, partners and advisors and communicating with staff are invaluable to 7th Floor Media's success. Noni has a BA
(English and History) and teaching certification from the University of British Columbia. Noni was a member of the Canadian Culture Online
Advisory Board for the Department of Canadian Heritage, and currently sits on the Editorial Advisory Committee for Culture.ca.

Pamela Sevilla-Anderson

Multimedia Developer Pamela Sevilla-Anderson

Since joining 7th Floor Media in 2002 Pam has applied her diverse skills as a developer to building both websites and interactive kiosks. Her experience working with several scripting languages is boosted by her understanding of usability and accessibility issues. She holds a certification in Multimedia, Design and Development for the Web from Bodwell Internet School in Vancouver, as well as a BA in Economics with a minor in Management from McGill University.

Daniel Sheinin

Senior Technical Consultant / Developer Daniel Sheinin

Daniel has been a senior developer at 7th Floor Media since 2000, during which time he's been analyst, architect and tech lead on some of the more technically demanding and extensive projects. His skills and certifications give him the ability to jump in as programmer or systems administrator wherever there is a need. His university education in liberal and fine arts make him a valuable communicator, helping to bridge the divide between technology and the real world.

Dennis Smith

Creative Director Dennis Smith

Dennis joined 7th Floor Media in 1990 and since then he has been responsible for ensuring the outstanding look and feel of the many new media products that have been developed at 7th Floor Media, including web sites, interactive displays, CDROMs and videos. An artist, writer and communicator with an extensive knowledge of Canadian history, Dennis has merged those skills with an in-depth understanding of the issues associated with interactive design. Dennis has a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a teacher's certificate from Simon Fraser University.

Mary Watt

Project Manager Mary Watt

As a Project Manager at 7th Floor Media Mary has been at the wheel of many complex educational projects. As a Business graduate from Laurier University with time spent at IBM Mary brings a strong understanding of the technical challenges of any project and has shown a deft hand at navigating through those challenges. The Historica web site, the Open Hearts, Closed Door web site are among the many projects she's worked on that has required a careful balance of priorities that Mary has shown a great talent for.

Julie Zilber

Co-Director Julie Zilber

A former intellectual property lawyer, Julie joined 7th Floor Media in 1990 and has led numerous teams in the research and development of leading edge new media projects. An expert in human-centred design, focus group research and user requirements analysis, Julie is a frequent invited speaker, at home and abroad, on the subject of new technologies and their impact on education. Julie is also Chair for Community Engagement Programs in Continuing Studies at SFU, a member of the Board of the Virtual School Society of British Columbia, and Vice-Chair of the Lions Gate Learning Alliance. Julie has a BA from Simon Fraser University, a JD from the University of British Columbia, and completed the course work for a PhD at Simon Fraser University.
